So this is my prom dress... the steam punk one i designed and made.
the corset was the hardest thing to do. but the white lace also macthes the gloves(because i used the same fabric). I think it all looks great honestly.
The hat i made from felt and thick paper, plus feathers and some netting fabric to add little bows.
I also made the little choker with a fancy key on it. And my dates (Boyfriend) little boy corsage thingy in which i cannot spell. I made it to macth the hat. I which i think it went very well with :)
If you have anymore question about it feel free to ask!

I have been soooo busy with school and everything blah. Oh well enough about my personal life.
I am working s hard on my steam punk prom dress! i hope i can show you guys soon what it looks like. I only have like two more weeks to finish it... YIKES!!!
This is the pattern that i am going off of.
The skirt is going to be black, the corset brown and i am adding a sleeve to the corset which will be a chevron striped black and white. Plus since it is a high low skirt i am adding a funk red fabric underneath the skirt so if you look closely you can see it behind my legs. :)
i am so excited to do this!
thank you for coming here for you Artsy Fartsy needs!

Steampunk Dream Catcher
This is the first dream catcher I have ever made. And I hope to make more. I bought the roman clocks off of Joanns fabric online. I grabbed little things to make chains out of. I used needle nosed pliers to put them together, creating the chain. My boyfriend actually found a gold feathered earing in which I used in the dream catcher.
It was very easy to make. I just found a loop thingy and then added all the little trinkets.
I'm very proud of this and can not wait to make more. I'm think my next one is going to be rostica themed. But if yoy have any ideas please tell me and I can see what I can do.
Plus if you would like me to make something like this for you please email me at jo.clark4910@gmail.com and we can talk about it.
